Shablovsky correctly describes AAC as a very popular lossy format, but erroneously equates this with lossless ALAC. There are 3 reasons Ogg FLAC would be much more helpful than Ogg PCM: FLAC is truly lossless, meaning that FLAC encoding followed by FLAC decoding produces audio that is bit-for-bit identical to the original. Respectfully, I believe you are mistaken. You responded on that PCM was a better option because FLAC is not truly lossless. The uninstall wasn’t as easy as it could be, and I had to find the Ladiocast driver file and trash it in order to get rid of “Audiojingle'.
